MARGE CAMP is making the jump over to the Pacific coast of Mexico - meet me in beautiful Baja California Sur to explore:

The Elements of You!

"Movement | Artistry | Restoration: Group Experience / Celebrating A Meaningful Practice". This absolutely, truly, and entirely encapsulates the essence of MARGE CAMP.

I am beyond pleased to host this intimate retreat experience on the west coast of Mexico in Baja California Sur (near Todos Santos) at the unmatchable community of Yandara Yoga Institute in November 2024.

Having personally experienced Yandara myself, the magic of this place is undeniably special: beholding the magnificent Baja beach sunsets, sleeping under the stars in our own private tent while the Pacific waves lull us toward our dreams, waking up to the moon gently sinking into the ocean, and navigating the twists and turns among cacti and palm trees as we leisurely stroll between our own private beachfront yoga shala, the community dining area, the saltwater pool, outdoor showers, and once again to our beds.

Guided by the five elements: Fire, Earth, Water, Air, & Ether, prepare for a deep dive inward while being forever cradled by the expansive majesty of the Pacific oceanfront Baja desert.

MARGE CAMP was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. To be brought together with such inspirational women was truly magical. Every class was unique and surprising. As a yoga teacher, I was very inspired and as a student I learned so much more about my practice. It was a week of truly disconnecting from the chaos of my daily life and indulging in a much needed emotional and spiritual journey. Thank you for being the amazing person that you are and sharing your art and knowledge of movement.

Yandara humbly boasts a safe and tight-knit oceanfront community of 6 acres sprinkled with tents, yoga pavillions, open air dining, cacti, bright flowers, and neighboring wildlife. Located near Todos Santos on the scenic Baja Peninsula, Yandara sits one hour north of Cabo San Lucas. During your private shuttle ride from SJD airport, prepare to enjoy the sprawling Baja desert (lush with green, this time of year) on your right side and an ocean full of whales on your left.

Private accommodations in the form of personal glamping tents and concrete cabins, shared open air bathrooms and showers, linens and necessities, a saltwater pool, hammocks abundant, open air dining, direct access to the beach, a smoothie bar, a curated boutique, and a state-of-the-art yoga studio with all mats and props included is yours to call home - tucked just a beach walk away from the Pacific ocean where 6 stunning sunsets await you, peppered by your majestic neighbors: families of breaching whales eager to blow you a kiss from their enormous blue home.

Above all, I am SO excited to share this themed retreat's offerings: The Elements of You!

Each day will creatively honor one of the five Ayurvedic elements (Fire, Earth, Water, Air, & Ether). Each day and its respective element will feature parallel chapters including dharma talks, journaling, meditation, active movement, slower corporal practices, restoration, soundscapes, and specially curated add-ons to fully drive each point home.

Plan on breathing with the Pacific tides. Holding space for yourself and others. Getting your feet in the sand. Stargazing. Haikus will be written. Rest your body on the ground. Throw your feet in the air. Soften into your most sacred self.

In a word: INDULGE.

Itinerary details to unfold as camp approaches. And just like always - everything is optional.

If you happen to be a yoga teacher and partake in all classes/workshops, you will earn 25-hrs of continuing education accredited through Yoga Alliance.

The dining experience is like no other... Yandara staff generously provides 3 meals a day with the yogic lifestyle in mind. Prepared and enjoyed onsite, the cuisine features an exquisitely enriching plant-based and mostly vegetarian menu (fish & egg options available), and most dietary restrictions can be accommodated*. Filtered water, coffee, and tea, and refreshments are always on hand. Sharing meals together serves to enrich our bond as we feed our bodies and spirits, swapping stories as we energize or wind down our day.

Please note that Yandara observes quiet hours from 10pm - 10am, which means breakfast is to be enjoyed in silence. Have you ever had a contemplative morning meal to yourself as you sit under yellow flowers and palm trees, listening to the breeze as the birds and bugs chat with each other? You're about to!

*Staff is happy to offer gluten-free and vegan options in addition to taking care of most personal dietary needs. Be sure to bring your own refillable water bottle!

A plethora of additional wellness journeys are available on-site: massages, body therapies, Reiki, astrology sessions, tarot card readings, acupuncture... Yandara employs the most magical guest and local healers; you can expect to be very much taken care of during your week of retreating into yourself.

... or you can quite literally walk through the beach gate, sit on the sand, and enjoy a personal ocean therapy session.

Ready, set... exhale. Close your eyes. Can you smell the sea breeze yet? Feel the sun on face? The salt on your skin? The sand between your tootsies? LOOK! Was that a shooting star?

Hi, I'm Marge!

Marge (she/her) proudly bears a lifetime affinity for movement and languages, having spent most of her years calling upon the body as her chosen tool of artistic expression as well as learning Spanish, Italian, and French. She holds a BFA in dance and choreography, a professional certificate of contemporary circus arts, and an E-RYT 500 YACEP Yoga Alliance credential. Her studies, creations, teachings, and performances have blown her all across the globe and today she finds herself navigating an international move from Richmond, VA to Dublin, Ireland. Practitioners in Marge’s hands can expect a unique blend of movement, grace, passion, humor, and awakening to one’s own innate artistry.

Farrah B. Fox (she/her)

Hiya!! I grew up in southern California and am now based in Richmond, Virginia. I majored in English, but have been side-hustlin’ with photography and graphic design ever since. I'm a fan of vacuuming, lover of stretching, and mother to two sweet puppers. I love connecting with people and documenting all the strange and lovely things that make us human. My goal is for folks to really feel seen and fully represented through my lens. I can’t wait to meet you!

Farrah will be offering professional candid photography during specified classes, and personalized portraiture sessions at no additional cost to participants. Are you ready for your close up?

Yandara's private 6-acre property provides a safe home for our intimate space (17 of us total at maximum capacity). Please note that Yandara is also an esteemed Yoga Institute, which means there will be a teacher training taking place at the same time as our retreat. While we are assured our own yoga space, accommodations, and meal areas, retreaters can expect to meet some new friends over a mug of tea, while lounging at the beautiful saltwater pool, or even brushing your teeth under the stars!

Unless you opt to book a cabana with its own private bathroom, get ready to enjoy shared outdoor facilities, sinks, and showers! Bath & beach towels will be provided, but guests are kindly asked to bring their own toiletries. Fresh sheets and linens will be provided as well as a mid-week freshen up by staff. Drinking water and a tea station are always on hand. Also on-site is complimentary WiFi access, a private pool, lounge areas, hammocks and chairs, its own little library, and plentiful nooks and crannies for taking rest. Yandara staff provides hand-washing laundry stations as well a laundry service for a small fee.

Sunlight and ocean air floods our beautiful yoga studio which directly faces the Pacific horizon; I apologize in advance if your drishti gets distracted by intermittent whale spout sightings. Yoga mats, blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters are thoughtfully provided for those wishing to travel light. Access to the beach is a hop, skip, and jump through the gate - the Pacific sunsets are not to be missed...

Please note and be prepared to respect that Yandara is a facility free of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and mind-altering substances.
